Davied joined Timera from Wetility, where he was an Energy Data Scientist. In this role, he developed machine learning models to improve forecasting accuracy for solar power generation and day-ahead power prices. In addition, he led in-depth analysis of BESS charging and optimisation strategies.
Davied holds an MSc in Energy Systems and Data Analytics (First Class Honours) from University College London. His studies primarily focused on the integration of renewable energy assets into the power grid, with his thesis exploring the application of generative models as a tool for forecasting short to medium-term solar power generation.
Davied works in Timera’s commercial team with responsibility for European power and gas market analysis, as well as the commercial and quantitative analysis of flexible energy assets.
