Kaan is a Senior Gas & Power Analyst specialising in portfolio optimisation, transaction support, and contract valuation modelling. He brings strong expertise in the quantitative valuation of flexible energy assets across power and gas markets, including the valuation of flexibility terms in contract negotiations.
Kaan has a MEng with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering from University College London. His research focussed on energy generation mechanics of renewable energy systems, and undertook projects on developing a feasible hydrogen & solar energy generation system for domestic households.
He leads Timera’s LNG demand modelling and has managed client engagements across the full gas, power, and LNG value chain.
Recent work spans a GB BESS portfolio equity raise, an US upstream LNG equity stake valuation, APAC LNG contract price reviews, and transaction support for one of Europe’s largest regas terminals.
